Seats sold out for the 1st BBT Cycle Route "Villa Romana La Olmeda".

From La Olmeda we want to thank the great response that this call has had with a great success of participants.


The sport will also have a leading role in the events of the 50th anniversary of the discovery of Villa Romana La Olmeda. And it will do so with a BTT route, which will take place on the 15th of September, departing from Plaza Vieja de Saldaña at 10 o'clock in the morning and arriving at the site itself. The registration has been closed with 100 participants.

It is a very nice route, but accessible to the BTT fans, who will have to travel 45 kilometers, with only a cumulative altitude difference of 200 meters, whose design has meticulously elaborated the Villa de Saldaña Mountain Bike CD, which together with the Municipality of the town, has worked closely with the entity Linum Berco, organizer of the test, with the coordination of the Provincial Council of Palencia. Although the first can make the journey in less than 2 hours, the approximate time for those who want to shoot enjoying the day and the area will be two and a half hours.

The participants will have two refreshments, the first one halfway down in terms of Villota del Páramo, and the second one in the same site at the arrival of the route. Also, cyclists can enjoy a guided tour of the village and then return by coach to the departure point in Saldaña, where the City Council will provide cyclists who wish showers and laundry for bicycles. To participate you must be of legal age, but the participation of minors is also allowed, as long as they are 16 years of age and accompanied by a person over 18 years of age.
