During these days, while BTL, considered the largest business event in the tourism sector in Portugal, is being held in the Portuguese capital, tastings of the quality brand's products are being offered to professionals and fair visitors, including wines from eight wineries in the Arlanza, Cigales, and Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y León DOs, and cheeses from nine cheese factories. The Palencia Provincial Council's own stand features two counters branded as Turismo con Pe, one for tourist information and the other for activities. It features a 75-inch screen and a 32-inch totem pole with the Church of San Salvador de Cantamuda, nestled in the Montaña Palentina Natural Park, and a series of videos of the province edited in Portuguese. The stand also features backlit panels with images of the Oecus of the Roman Villa of La Olmeda and the Church of San Salvador de Cantamuda.

A total of twelve vinyl-wrapped taxis will be driving through the streets of Lisbon to promote Palencia , featuring one of the province's emblems, the Oecus of the Roman Villa of La Olmeda , and the "Tourism with Foot" logo . The Palencia Provincial Council presented the image of the taxis this Thursday at the Lisbon International Fair , bearing the slogan "Palencia or your next purpose, with Foot," in order to showcase the province's tourist and cultural attractions and promote it in the neighboring country, thus consolidating its presence in the Portuguese market.

BTL, considered the largest business event in the tourism sector in Portugal, brings together 1,500 exhibitors from 85 international destinations and expects to receive more than 80,000 visitors. This annual event has reaffirmed itself year after year as an essential meeting point for tourism professionals and the general public, offering a unique platform for promoting destinations and generating new business opportunities.
OWN STAND. The Provincial Council of Palencia is participating with its own stand, thus strengthening its presence and tourism offerings in Lisbon. The Palencia stand features a tourist information area and another space where various activities will take place, such as tastings of specially selected wines and cheeses from the "Alimentos de Palencia" brand, and offering "Trapa" chocolates to surprise and delight visitors. Mosaic workshops inspired by the Roman Villa of La Olmeda will also be held on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
