In Christmas, La Olmeda and iis Museum are open at their usual hours, from Tuesday to Sunday, except for holidays 24th, 25th and 31st December, 1st and 6th January.

In addition to that, during these dates the Christmas nativity scene of La Olmeda can be seen installed in the archaeological site of Pedrosa de la Vega (Palencia), inspired by this great rural village with palatial airs from the 4th century AD. which, like every year, is organized by the Palencia Provincial Council in collaboration with the Palencia Nativity Scene Association “Francisco de Asís”.
LA OLMEDA: it will open from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. continuously. The Pedrosa de la Vega Roman site can be visited independently, without a guide, with the support of brochures, panels, videos and QR codes. Advance booking through the web is recommended to avoid unwanted waits, due to controlled capacity. GUIDED TOURS: guided tours of the La Olmeda archaeological site may be arranged, subject to advance telephone reservation, depending on availability and with a series of sanitary measures and restrictions. More information on the phone 979 119 997 (attention during the opening hours of the deposit, from M to D from 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.). During the indicated dates the demand is high and the capacity is limited, therefore it is recommended to make the reservation days in advance.
COVID: Safety measures, mandatory use of a mask, hand hygiene and interpersonal distance indicated by health authorities must be respected. The maximum capacity allowed inside the site is limited to 200 simultaneous people and 60 people inside the museum. Groups are limited to 30 people. THE MUSEUM: installed in the church of San Pedro de Saldaña, it will open the same days, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in 2021. The visit is free, without a guide, with the support of brochures, panels, videos and QR codes. The ticket to visit La Olmeda is valid to access the Museum.
????????NEWS: However, for 2022 the museum's hours change, from Tuesday to Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., extending its opening hours to the public.
TEJADA: it is recalled that the Roman site of Quintanilla de la Cueza is closed seasonally, from November to February, until the next season in March 2022.
